@eeeee Yes, I would've thought so. Seems odd to have a 'hole' in the middle of the row. Haha. I've just resized the categories (so that they're wider) and they're now sitting nicely, but I did prefer them the original size, so if anyone knows how to get rid of the hole, I'd be forever grateful

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before? A gap in their categories:

I've checked the order of the categories in the Manage > Categories section and they all follow in sequence (i.e. in line with what you see in this pic), but for some reason there's a gap. No amount of reshuffling, resetting the order etc will get rid of it - that same spot is just always blank!

@phenomlab Thank you for this. I've downloaded the plugin, but I still don't see how to edit the actual text in the email. This seems to allow me to edit the format of the emails (font, text size, padding etc), but not the wording itself. Odd.

Hi all. I was wondering if it's possible to change the look/wording of the email notifications / digests etc. For example, the weekly digest simply says 'Your Weekly Digest'. I'd love to say something a bit friendlier like: "Here's what you missed this week" (or something along those lines).

When I was using Persona theme, the avatars of the group members used to show on the main groups page (/groups)

I'm now using Lavender. Is there a way to show these avatars here now?
Otherwise, what is the white space for?

I'd love to use this plug-in, but when I installed it with Lavender theme, it created issues with categories (invalid category IDs, unable to create new categories, unable to post in existing categories).

Once I uninstalled this plug-in, all was fine.

Is there perhaps a newer version that works with Lavender?

Just one other update on this, in case it's useful for other users...

It seems to be this plug-in that creates an issue on lavender: [nodebb-plugin-category-join-group]

Yesterday's events:
-I had Persona theme - all fine
-I changed to Lavender - all fine
-I installed and then uninstalled above plug-in, and thought nothing of it.
-Problem arose with categories...

Today's events:
-Reverted back to Persona and all was fixed
-Once again reverted back to Lavender, and still everything was ok.
-Tried again to reinstall above plug-in - problem came back again

Again, I have flip-flopped between themes and the problem is sorted, but it definitely seems that the above plug-in doesnt agree with Lavender theme for some reason. Which is a shame, because I'd love to use this plug-in.

I hope this might be useful for others.

Very strange... I switched back to Persona to see if it had anything to do with my recent switch to Lavender. All worked fine in Persona.
So out of curiosity I switched back to Lavender again - and it's all working fine!!

I'm not sure... I'm not a developer so perhaps don't understand what this means. Are you able to tell me how I can check the network request?

Update:
-It's possible to reply to existing topics.
-I can change everything withing categories (images, text etc)
-I can move categories around (i.e. change the order)
-I can join groups etc
-Notifications works
-Chat/direct messaging works

Surely if my database was corrupt I wouldn't be able to do all of that?

-I just cant add new categories or post new topics in existing categories. Very odd.

This post suggests a corrupt database. Is there anything I can check / do before reinstalling from scratch?
