I signed up for Bsky... Mastodon is definitely the better network. Here people seem to be interested in actual conversations... on Bsky people seem interested in a platform to talk "to you.”

Lately I find myself going ever-deeper into Apple's ecosystem. There are real reasons for it, but I still can't help but to want to change that all, again.

I don't think I ever really heard people bitch about DST until I hit about 40. Now you would think it's the worst thing that ever happened to so many.

I actually kinda like the change. For me it was always the real beginning and end to summer.

Working on my own site is, well, fun for me again for the first time in years.

It’s 9:00 am and I am eating beef jerky and have a 20oz bottle of Mountain Dew on my desk. It’s like the worst habits of my college years are back…. and not in a good way

I’m getting to the point where just saying something is open source isn’t a reason for me to use it. From bitwarden to wordpress and so many others, open source has become as abusive as proprietary tech. If it works for me I’ll use it but I’ve hit the point where, at a minimum, I won’t sacrifice usability just because something says it is open source today.

Really can’t wait until tomorrow is over. It hasn’t been a bad week but… damn I’m tired.
