Why do people believe #Bluesky is on #Blockchain or that accounts are #NFT? Where did this myth start and why have they not done basic research? I spotted this on #Threads.

Woohoo I got the #BlueSky #Mastodon and #Threads #YouTube video pretty much all finished with the majority of editing. Now it's just a matter of rewatching it, adding a few more images and memes, plus some background music. It will be 54 minutes long, my longest yet!

After testing Mastodon, Threads, and Bluesky for multiple weeks crossposting the same posts to test engagement I can rank it as follows:
1) Mastodon
2) BlueSky
3) Threads
It should be noted all three are by far more engaging than Twitter/X.

Both #Blue and #Mastodon / #Fediverse have the same problem. People think of it as a “site” rather than as a technology or platform. They don’t understand the decentralized nature. I’ve seen people kicked from Bluesky or Mastodon not understanding it was just from that PDS or Instance.

I met Deadmau5 at DEFCON this year in line for a talk but the dude was so down to earth I didn’t even know I actually met Deadmau5 and thought it was just a dude with the Deadmau5 mask. It didn’t click until I saw the DEFCON video footage that, “I FUCKING TALKED TO DEADMAU5!” #DeadMau5 #DEFCON

Well it just gets proven more and more that #Bluesky and #Mastodon are better than #Threads and #Twitter / #X because now ElonsJet isn’t on Threads anymore either. But they are still on Mastodon and Threads.

Aside from fedi.tips what sites and tools can you recommend new users to #Mastodon I’m trying to work on this for a new #youtube video to welcome people who want to try it alongside #bluesky and #threads. But Twitodon and other tools I originally used seem to no longer work. #fediverse

I guess I finally have an incentive to add Bluesky to my Twitch poster I made for mastodon two years ago. FINE. I’ll probably do it sometime this or next week. But I still need to add Doppler secrets management and dockerization.
