Can someone explain to me how to do four independent 10GBASE-LRM SMF connections to a single QSFP+ port? -
Can someone explain to me how to do four independent 10GBASE-LRM SMF connections to a single QSFP+ port?@ryanc That sounds correct based on the descriptions, but make sure that your switch supports breaking out the QSFP+ port to 4x10G because not all of them do. Also make sure to get it coded for your vendor.

I have a 10Gbps link over single mode fiber and I didn't even have to fiddle with it. -
Due to an issue with wall plates, I've agreed to re-terminate about 30 Ethernet jacks. Data cable installer has agreed to come back later to test/certify everything.@astrid @ryanc @deviantollam Yup, a cable with one A end and one B end is a crossover, and the gigabit specification requires auto-MDIX which automatically crosses over if needed. Since two crossovers cancel out, it doesn't matter if you mismatch standards on the ends.
