I too think a comment (reply under reply) feature would be extremely beneficial. It doesn't have to be fully threaded, just 1 level under a top level reply is enough.

This would make NodeBB even more perfect as a blog commenting system too as blog commenting systems such as DISQUS have this.

I agree that something like this would be nice. Otherwise I think the reply button should be merged with the quote button as it is somewhat confusing.

My website is developed using node.js as an express app. Could someone give me any pointers on how I could use NodeBB's user signup / auth system / user session in my express app too?

Is it possible to hook into the NodeBB app so it and my website app run in the same node process and share user session that way? Or would it be better to separate the node processes and communicate user info another way?

After a quick look at the project, I have to say this is my dream forum as it's based on node.js and has most everything I'd need.

One thing though that would make it perfect is to make nodebb able to also handle comments on blog / news posts. Kind of like Disqus.
