@coffeegeek I know it’s not Suzuki or Chevy, but the Rivian R3 is going to be very close to what you’re looking for I think.
Depending on timing, I might be looking at one.

Hello! I’m in the market for a fairly inexpensive drip brewer for occasional use. I've found the holiday guide on coffeegeek.com ; do you have updated recommendations? I’m more in the market for smaller machine, I really only need 2 mugs at a time. I’m eyeing the Simply Good Olsen but it’s big. Any thoughts on the Zojirushi Zutto? I know Amazon prime days are coming and I’ll be waiting for that. Thank you!
@coffeegeek @coffee @espresso More to the point, I’ve got two questions:
1. On the J-Ultra, how accurate is it when moving between coffee types? As in, if I switch from espresso to aeropress and back again, will the espresso setting be the same? I’ll be trying this myself, but would like your input.
2. “35 sec. including 10 sec. pre-infusion”: is this 45 seconds total, or 35 seconds total? English is a terrible language.
Thank you!
@coffeegeek Bang for the buck goes to precut parchment paper sheets (not the folded ones!) that slip right into my half sheet pans.
I do love my KitchenAid stand mixer tho.
@coffeegeek Your opinion, please. I’m currently using a DF64 for espresso, and a Timemore Chestnut Slim Plus for Aeropress. Love ‘em both. But, could I meaningfully improve my espresso grinding with a manual grinder under, say, $200? Thank you!
