@matthiasott I’d be willing to give that a try, but only if it would result in an improvement of my CSS skills.

People quite regularly (= never) ask me about my secret morning routine. -
Having a sizeable following on social media hardens you—in the same way that any small measure of power might.@zachleat Stay soft, man.

Please publish and share more@webology Great timing, I just started a microblog on my site so I would feel more comfortable writing shorter things than those found on my main blog. I did mine in a subdir instead of a subdomain. https://www.bobmonsour.com/microblog/

One thing I've been surprised to learn more about in recent years is that the MAD doctrine of the cold war really was _assured_.@graydon @timbray Here's a gift link to a recent NY Times article about the massive makeover of US nuclear capability. It's quite astonishing. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/10/10/opinion/nuclear-weapons-us-price.html?unlocked_article_code=1.RE4.jzat.gjwUawKyM9vN&smid=url-share

This is a very powerful message from Kamala Harris. One which I think will move undecided voters away from Trump.@randahl He has so destroyed trust in anything that I have no hope that even if they heard it that they would believe it…true as it is.

I dunno, man...@fortyseven You are not alone in feeling this way. My wife and I are heading out of the country (US) on Election Day. We hope to be distracted from the ensuing chaos.

I feel like I don’t hype my wife enough around here.@skinnylatte Love those smiles!

It's 8:17 PM on a Sunday, with executive dysfunction and some tiredness.@mahryekuh I've got a main.css with a couple of @import statements at the top to bring in a reset file and a variables file. Would that work for your case? I get that the nesting things is a bit of a different story.

It's 8:17 PM on a Sunday, with executive dysfunction and some tiredness.@mahryekuh Glad to hear it. I eliminated SCSS a while back and am glad I did. Not that it's bad at all, I just didn't really need it for what I build.

me in ur replies@shellen @zachleat One thought would be to use js front matter for those files in a directory data file and use a regex to set the permalink based on the filename, but removing the up-front date part. You might consider asking this in the #11ty Discord. There's a lot of great help there. https://www.11ty.dev/blog/discord/

One of the great curses in technology is that, if you’ve ever built a content management system, especially a blogging tool, you can never stop building better ones in your head, even though the actual products in reality never get any better. Here @ma...@kimonostereo @anildash If you're ever looking to see what others are doing with #11ty, I built a site with more than 1,000 blog posts covering a lot of ground. https://11tybundle.dev/
