I have a problem, yet again...

So recently, I have discovered that when I start NodeBB, the page only loads the top bar. http://prntscr.com/7jts5k If anybody knows how to fix this, your input would be appreciated.

FIX: Stop the following services: redis-server & redis_6379. Run redis-server in the terminal to restart it. Restart nodebb.

      Fixed by reinstalling redis-server.

Now I'm getting a new error while setting the thing up. http://pastebin/ZKJZWvqv

      Edit: Removed typo in link

Sorry for being a pest, but this is what I meant by constantly having errors.

    • RE: Windows Error, now an Ubuntu Error

I've started reinstalling already and I get the following when running 'sudo apt-get dist-upgrade', installing nodejs-dev with -f like the error before this one said. http://pastebin.com/U5dGci0z

EDIT: Fixed by doing 'sudo apt-get -f nodejs' and 'sudo apt-get -f nodejs-dev' repeatedly. Don't ask how that worked, but yeah...

Then can you explain why this happens every time I startup NodeBB with 'sudo ./nodebb start'? http://prntscr.com/7j6qfb

    • Windows Error, now an Ubuntu Error

Recently I have been using Ubuntu to host NodeBB and I constantly run into different errors randomly. So, I wanted to see how well NodeBB would work out on Windows.

I have followed the the walk through in the Docs section of the website for Windows (and Ubuntu, but that's besides the point)and I get errors as soon as I run 'npm install'.

Here is an error log, any help would be nice.

    • RE: Problems with subdomains

Sorry for all these questions, but do you know what to put for adding a CNAME record? I tried doing it and it still resulted in sending me to the default homepage 😕

    • RE: Problems with subdomains

Ok, I have done what you have said... But now there is another problem.

I have setup an A record pointing to my IP, like what several tutorials for this have said, but now it just redirects me to my regular homepage. I type in forums.sentnet.us and the same webpage for sentnet.us appears.

      Thanks,
