Found a fix, going to post if anybody else if having this issue.

I ran npm remove nodebb-theme-vanilla then I installed it again with npm install nodebb-theme-vanilla and started the forums.

Note: All of this was done after disabling all plugins and themes via the command line.

So I recently switched from vanilla theme to lavender and the ACP does not seem to work. All buttons lead to page not found. I've tried clearing my cache and restarting nodebb. As well as ./nodebb reset

Eventually I tried ./nodebb setup and I got this error after passing all of the config settings:
29/1 17:43 [27847] - warn: NodeBB Setup Aborted. The package nodebb-theme-vanilla does not satisfy its siblings' peerDependencies requirements!

Currently when you rename a topic, it changes the url and deletes the old url. I think that a nice plugin/feature would be if the old url redirected to the new one.

I found a fix. It was an error in nodebb. When I did ./nodebb setup I made a typo in the port.. oops .-.

Anyway its all good now.

So earlier nodebb wasn't working properly and I saw that redis wasn't running. I immediatley did redis-server and then i did 1./nodebb setupwent to my web address to see if it was still configured right. After that I head over to my site in chrome and see that everything is back to default and all posts & users were deleted. Basically, I want to know if it is possible to get my data back.

Thanks, it worked. Also, I have another problem. I did ./nodebb reload and now my forum does not seem to start. When I do ./nodebb start it says it starts but I cannot connect to it. The log outputs this:

at shutdown (/root/nodebb/app.js:374:36)
at process.<anonymous> (/root/nodebb/app.js:211:7)
at process.EventEmitter.emit (events.js:95:17)
at process._fatalException (node.js:272:26)
3 restarts in 10 seconds, most likely an error on startup. Halting.

Hello, I have been trying to install the emailer plugin for a while with no luck. I cd to my nodebb directory and do "npm install git://github.com/psychobunny/nodebb-plugin-emailer-local" It installs it, but it does not appear under installed plugins in the ACP. Can anybody help me? Thanks

PS I've already tried reloading/restarting nodebb, the plugins still do not appear.
