Well due to this issue, when first url is not redirected, it gets indexed in search engine and after that old one results on 404 error page [ that is quite bad for any user ].

Let me explain the case:
User already created a topic and the moderator/ admin updates it; then the topic url is updated to new one.
And when we go to old url topic, it lands in 404 error, but, ideally old url should automatically get redirected to new url.
Need feedback on this...

@hek my temporary work around is to generate sitemap manually and put on server at different url address; then submit it to search engines.
This can be done manually.

Guys, I am wondering, did we test nodebb on different internet speed?
For example we are facing a lot of issue when people are using nodebb forum on 2G connected mobile/ tabs.

No doubt we started using nodebb because it is mobile first. Now having this issue on 2G network connections, make the users unhappy. Maybe we can put in some kind of smooth flow between the page loads/ new post creations, where the page takes time to load.

Guys, do we have feature to sort topics in a particularcategory?
In a category we want to sort topics according to date/ engagement/ popularity; I can't see any option for this!!

Got the solution.

The option is available under Manage > Categories > Options > Access Control > Search User > Privileges.

This is one of the issue I am facing, where I created a group called "Moderator" and we are not able to give any special permission to them like, editing the topic or deleting it.

In this case; the "Moderator" reverted back and asked "What special permission does he has other than general users?"

Any help on this?

Yes, according to me maintaining a list of sitemap record is quite important for search engines.

Have a look at sitemap samples from here: http://www.amazon.com/robots.txt ; at the end of file sitemap location is given.
For large websites and forums .xml.gz format can be followed.

Currently I see there are only 63 latest urls that appear in /sitemap.xml file
How can i increase this number?

Guys I have this issue now:
I am getting continuous pings on app.dealstan.com/xmlrpc.php url; i.e. {nodebb setup}/xmlrpc.php location.

How to stop this? Any idea?
