I am also curious as to how everyone just assumes the head of the party can do this.
No CEO has this kind of authority. Even Elon Musk cannot make broad decisions on his own in Tesla, X.
This feels more like a media campaign to scuttle the party than a legal one. Maybe they just offered Falcon a pile of money to say it, even though he could not legally do so.

Being fair, the BCNDP have reversed a large number of cuts to Health Services and Education - e.g. they have quadrupled the number of seats for nursing undergrads, and are about to reach quadruple the number of advanced practice/graduate student nursing seats. Since the departure of Mr. Horgan they have rediscovered the environment/climate crisis, and stopped stalling on UNDRIP.
