I'm now wondering whether screen protectors are a feminist issue? Seriously. Lots of male presenting people saying they don't need one because they keep their phones in their pockets. It's incredibly hard to find clothes for oestrogen based body shapes with big enough pockets for a phone, I only have one pair of jeans that has them. So my phone usually goes in my bag where it can get scratched by keys, staff pass, zippers etc. Is it mostly women buying screen protectors?

Like if these materials exist and protect screens from being damaged why do we have to buy them? Why aren't they installed in devices as standard? Why are phones still sold as scratchable by default?
Capitalism that's why, I know, it was rhetorical.
