I’m primarily a Mac user and really just dipping my toe in the idea of a desktop Linux machine (rather than a VPS) so I don’t want to spend *too* much money. I have a Pi5 to play with and maybe that’s fine ‍️ I tried a little Starlite 11” which was lovely apart from the trackpad... where apple have really just spoiled me I might investigate that specific thinkpad model on eBay

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced laptop for Linux *with a decent trackpad* ? Should I just use an old intel MBAir ? Or an old Thinkpad with the nipple? I’m not about to purchase something immediately, just interested in thoughts after being very dissatisfied with a Starlite.
