sorry, i think i misunderstood what you meant.

Let's back up a bit
So my question is: can NodeBB be used as a user engine for Ghost, can this be achieved using some NodeBB plugins such that we can use the power of NodeBB on a publishing platform like Ghost.
I am aware of that post but since no roadmap or ETA i can not rely on it too much.
That is why i am looking for alternatives. How could i use the the ghost platform but still have a user engine so powerful as NodeBB .

The other features (register, follow) are within NodeBB, currently not connected to Ghost’s Subscribers feature, which is in beta but working now. They plan to add full membership support to Ghost in the near future.

That is a great news, did not know that, do they have a roadmap on that? any indication on when will this become available?

and i am not sure how and if the others can be achieved using that plugin

Could NodeBB be used a user engine for ghost?
ghost .org is a beautiful publishing platform but it does not have user engine, you can not let user register , or follow each other etc.
I love the simplicity of ghost and the power of NodeBB, could those two work together to have a simple but powerful bloging platform?
If yes, any ideas?

@julian i was wondering the same thing as @Jenkler , but from what i see on github page of the plugin "What's new in 0.3x
Fixed quite a few server crashes (especially when publishing)
Compatible with NodeBB 0.6x+ and Ghost 0.5.10"
Current version of Ghost in 1.24 .
Will this work for the new version too?
