Can I just upload files using FTP, I can't really access the command line on my website.

Refer to the documentation, it'll likely be in there. Link to Documentation

You probably could FTP the files to a location, but you'll need SSH to run the installer and start the app.

Has anyone managed to get this working on modulus.io?

I can't figure out what to do when it comes to:
