Does anybody have a good term to describe people you used to respect who turned out to be horrible? Like Steven Pinker, J.K. Rowling, Richard Dawkins. It's like a milkshake duck but more consequential and even more disappointing

@laurahelmuth @dannotdaniel I need Roger Waters added to this list.
-
@tantramar @laurahelmuth Eric Clapton too. both of these had flags going back
-
@dannotdaniel @tantramar @laurahelmuth Johnny Rotten / John Lydon. Did so enjoy Public Image Limited, and now he is terrible.
Thus far, Annie Lennox has never disappointed, and I am thankful for it.

When I feel I need a lift, this is exactly the piece I go to. Such beautiful people performing the perfect cover of a beautiful song. -

A different vibe but this is dynamite. Bjork and PJ Harvey - Satisfaction. -
@intothewestaway @dannotdaniel @tantramar @laurahelmuth Okay, that was awesome. I had no idea. For something completely different, Johann Johannsson, "Fordlandia": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ocZykSs55o

Very cool. I am a devotee to vibes. Humans can do so much better than just building bombs.
