upgrading from 2.8 to 3.3.9, emojis are missingI used some time to upgrade from nodebb 2.8 to 3.3.9, everything looks fine right now. But I found a small issue, the emojis are missing. Whenever we post a emoji, the emoji's address is like:
http://localhost:4567/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/customizations/79f9dbec-0e42-43f5-ab48-46b771a279bd-2ad92794949c29a27615ab967e12ba8e.gif?v=m0v5eu111h4
instead of
http://mydomain.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/customizations/79f9dbec-0e42-43f5-ab48-46b771a279bd-2ad92794949c29a27615ab967e12ba8e.gif?v=m0v5eu111h4
So all the emojis are missing. How can I handle this issue?

Website's icon is not regcognized, version: 2.8.2Alright, I double checked,
public/uploads/system/favicon.ico
andpublic/favicon.ico
are my own icon. I connected to the server, usecp
to replace the wrong one. Now it still has the problem, wired.. -
Website's icon is not regcognized, version: 2.8.2@crazycells Yea. I upgrade from 1.18 to 2.82 directly. For the past several years it does not have this issue. I assume it shouldn't change while upgrading. It looks now we need to do it manully. Let me try. I even dont have my favicon...first download it from my server
Alright,
public/uploads/system/favicon.ico
is my original one. I replaced this one:public/favicon.ico

Website's icon is not regcognized, version: 2.8.2I updated to 2.8.2, I did not remove
assets/uploads/system/favicon.ico
. But my website's icon turns to be identical with this forum's icon. It looks like a bug?Left: nodebb, Right: my website

nodejs 18: GLIBC 2.28 in Ubuntu 18.04 cannot be installedToday I want to update nodebb. Following this, it installed the latest nodejs 18. I am using ubuntu 18.04. When I run nodebb upgrade, it says
GLIBC 2.28 in Ubuntu 18.04 is missing
. I did a research. It looks its not possible to install GLIBC 2.28 in Ubuntu 18.04. So I revert to nodejs 16, as described here:curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_16.x | sudo bash -
Now it compiles.

[nodebb-plugin-meilisearch] use MeiliSearch as a full-text search backendWonderful!!!
I will test it these days and get back to you. Thank you!!
BTW, what version of nodebb should I use? I am using 1.18.6
This plugin requires a Meilisearch instance or the same server or somewhere else your NodeBB instance can access
Does it mean I need to install Meilisearch first?

Solr searching engine is badIs nodebb gonna support meilisearch?
-
Solr searching engine is bad@volanar How about this meilisearch compared with Solr, have u ever used it before.
-
Solr searching engine is badWe use Chinese, so dbsearch does not work either
-
Solr searching engine is bad@crazycells I do agree with you. Searching engine is a pain for us who dont use English
-
Solr searching engine is badI have been using Solr for 6 years. I have to say the results it provides are terrible. Of course this is not a problem of nodebb. I would say its a problem of Solr. Our website uses Chinese, so right now Solr is our only solution. However, it is terrible.
Some users just dont use it at all, they search something by Google like:
keyword site:mywebsite.com
The results are very good. Much better than Solr.
I am wondering if there is a change to have a better solution...
