Anarchists do not consider "anarcho-capitaiists" to be anarchists. All anarchists oppose capitalism, and all anarchism is against all forms of hierarchical control, not just the state's.

You've created a long thread of people telling you the same thing over and over, none of which was necessary to what you wanted to write. This kind of "anarchists want to destroy the state, and so do warlords, therefore warlords are anarchists" just isn't going to fly on Mastodon.

There is no reason to listen to genocide supporters who can't even win as a devil's bargain for supporting genocide. There is no reason to go on pretending that any group in power wants anything better for us than any other group. They have discredited themselves.

Become an anarchist.

My saying things like this is what the people who just lost used to delight in calling "purity politics." During this election, I was surprised that people didn't really even claim that we weren't supporting genocide. They said that we were, and that people had to vote for genocide supporters anyway.

They demanded that people support genocide, and then they lost.

You can't blame this outcome on bad "red states", or really on the GOP. There wasn't even much organized opposition as far as I could tell. Just ordinary Democrats voting to use prisoners to fight fires.

There are no good parties in American politics. This election was not a triumph of evil over good. It was a triumph of evil over a slightly different form of evil.

Let's talk about this a bit. California, one of the supposed strongholds of Blue America, rejected a proposition that would have ended forced prison labor. California depends on coercing people to fight fires and people know that.

"I'm sorry it wasn't good for you": I'm a current member, I'm familiar with the organization, and I can only repeat that people should not join. I see no chance of the long-lasting problems being solved any time soon.

My problems are not with my branch, which is fine: my problems are that NARA has hurt my branch, not helped, as it has every IWW organizing effort.

If you want to say that your branch is great and people in Atlanta should join, that's fine. I'm in a job branch myself. But a general message to join NARA is a sacrifice of people who think that they are doing something useful and will just leave them embittered.

Don't join the IWW. As an IWW member I can say that the organization is completely dysfunctional and currently unable to do anything for new members, who will just be treated as a source of dues until they leave.

It's going to need something to happen before it's useful to anyone.

Stop creating conferences in the high risk states. No one should have to go to these states for professional reasons.
