I think the only question is compatibility between composer plugins. If it's an easy switch without losing functionality then why not?
I've also been looking at https://iframely.com/ (resurrected on a different thread earlier), if done right this could basically deprecate all other embed style plugins
I wanted to build one for actually modifying templates. Kinda widgets system 2.0
We do offsite installations and upgrades, message [email protected]
Of course, we do have docs so you should try it yourself just back up everything first!
Edit: to answer your original question, we do plan on building an upgrade button into our hosting plans control panel - right now we just upgrade customers manually. It's probably impossible (or hard) to make an app upgrade itself via acp, we would need to make the acp a standalone application (we've toyed around the idea, but not worth the development time)
Sorry, let me hold that door for you on your way out julian, sorry. Bacon bacon
Ah a UK person, @a_5mith being the other prominent member on this site from there. I hope unlike him you're a real British person and follow football
And your team better not be arsenal :rage1:
Haha you mean position: static
Yikes. Why? Lol. I already have more than enough notifications from users who actually spend time writing proper posts and tagging me
Interesting this topic came back up - just earlier today I saw this on Reddit (mobile) and I liked how they did it. The alert at the bottom slides up to let you know you disconnected and then slides away a few moments after you reconnect.
Hey, cut it out guys - let's leave this conversation to the actual topic pls
And we're back to your regular scheduled program
This has probably been missed, but the next off topic commenter here will be handed our first ever temporary ban:
Aaaaand we're back to your regular scheduled program
(I almost feel like you should tempt me just so that I can test this feature out in production )
Damnit that's technically off topic so does this mean I have to ban you?
My two cents: am interested to know how this goes. If it ends up being something pretty legit you might just find backing from somewhere...
Yeah I agree, maybe we could move pagination into the post bar:
That would make it not look too bad since its the same on the top and bottom
yup, I think we had a discussion about this some time ago. if you want info about unique users grab the Google Analytics Plugin. FYI most other forum software treat their view counts the same way.
that said, totally open to a plugin that counts unique users
