I suggest you try it. It has been tested with Gmail, but we haven't been able to test other providers there.
The switch offers no explanation and seems not to do anything.
The switch enables that configuration, but it only applies if an emailer plugin isn't activated.
There you go, published results. It looks like Twig.js is even slower than templates.js was, and much slower than Benchpress. I am a little dubious of those results, though, as I could have easily messed something up in the benchmark.
I don't think so. This is something to bring up on the plugin's Github page.

Like I said earlier, you should not put site-specific nginx configs in nginx.conf
, but instead they should be put in sites_available
and linked into sites_enabled
, directories that should be in the same directory as nginx.conf
@razr-world twig is not compatible with templates.js syntax.
Also, it's tough claiming to be faster than Benchpressjs. I haven't seen any benchmarks comparing the two.
@maxpen did you set up SSL at all? The config you have there is for an SSL setup (https://
)
This is all from memory so use at your own risk. I recommend looking up how to use the linux command line if you aren't familiar with it, and also look up how to add an nginx site file.
It should go something like this:
cd /etc/nginx/sites-available
sudo nano ./nodebb
Then paste one of the configs there into the open file. Make the changes as explained in that, changing example.org
etc to your URL. Save and exit from the editor.
sudo ln -s ./nodebb ../sites-enabled/nodebb
sudo systemctl reload nginx
yeah of course
New version. Please try out [email protected]
Note: this version requires NodeBB v1.6.0
npm i nodebb-plugin-calendar@latest
Changelog:
Hi, just wanted to tell everyone that I'm working on the following issues:
@valentine-solo NodeBB doesn't work that way. It's not like PHP.
Looks like we should be using https://schema.org/breadcrumb
instead anyways. These attributes only exist for search engine robots anyways, I don't know why Firefox is complaining.
Where are the server-specific settings? You should have it in a separate file in sites_available
and link it into sites_enabled
.
Ideally you should run everything without root, and under the nodebb account. Everything besides systemctl
commands, that is. @julian pointed out above how best to run bash under a different user: su - nodebb
@adam-poniatowski because templates are done differently in v1.6.0, because it uses Benchpress.
What does npm -v
report? And yes, Benchpress requires Node 6 or later.
@adam-poniatowski what is your service file? My guess is that it starts nodebb under the nodebb
user. Running ./nodebb upgrade
as root is going to mess stuff up because it will change the ownership of certain files and directories during the build step.
What is your nginx config? Did you follow a tutorial? Which tutorial?
