Closing Terminal window terminates SSH -
Closing Terminal window terminates SSHNode won't run unless the terminal window on my computer is open. If i try to close it, it says "Do you want to close this window? Closing this window will terminate the running processes: ssh."
This comes after logging into ssh, then,
cd mynode
node appIf i close the window NodeBB shuts down and i get a gateway error on my website.
I think i saw a thread about this exact problem but now i cant seem to find it.

How do you get to the Nginx configuration@Julian lol. I know i feel bad but the hosting service just didnt seem like it was ready. If I could point a domain at it, and just start working on theming I totally would use it.

How do you get to the Nginx configuration@BarveyHirdman Thanks. That did the trick.
Unfortunately the problem's still the same. if you look at the website, it doesnt show that you are logged in. It doesnt show any of the statistics in the light colored boxes on the bottom. Very weird.

How do you get to the Nginx configurationNow i have a different problem.
You can see my site from
californiamotorcyceforum.com and http://198.199.96.7:4567/
if you look at it from the ip address everything works.
If you look at it from the url while signed in, it'll still say "log in/register" and wont have access to the alerts/instant messaging. From the admin it wont let me change any settings.

How do you get to the Nginx configurationI i decided to get a website up so i can play with the files but i've ran into a snag. How do you edit the nginx configuration file? My website still needs the port number.
I've been reading all of your tutorials but this step is usually unexplained because it's too easy.

embed.ly compatabilityHey i was wondering if it would be possible to use embed.ly with nodebb

Hello/introduction/feature requests/thanksThanks for the support this morning @Julian. I really appreciate it. I definitely will use node in the future soon as few more things are in place. In the meantime i'll take a look at what I can do to the themes to make NodeBB work for me.

Hello/introduction/feature requests/thanksAlso happy New Years everyone. This is a great way to start 2014.

Hello/introduction/feature requests/thanksThats very exciting. For #7, new members tend to ask questions and get hazed by the veterans. Flame wars start this way and eventually someone gets banned and/or the new member quits the forum. Giving a new member moderator powers of their own thread should work. I think psychologically, simply knowing that you can delete offensive comments alleviates much of the stress of being a new member. You don't feel quite as powerless.
