@baris although I had the problem on my own forum in the past, I've never seen it here in these forums until yesterday.

Recent topics on homepageThese seem to display intermittently. Sometimes I see them when I visit the NodeBB community forum homepage and sometimes I don't. Only started happening today.

Cooldown on Group join requests@psychobunny In Facebook, after declining a friend request, a "Mark as Spam" button appears. If that user is sending you multiple friend requests then you can click on that button.

Language specific routesI asked about this before. See Is it possible to rename routes? for more info. It would be great if this was made possible at some point (without the need for Nginx redirects and template overrides).

Mobile UI bug.@julian said:
Guys, this notifications bug should be fixed on latest persona (though I'm not sure if you need latest core for it)
Tested using core master and Persona master and this works now for me

Mobile UI bug.@julian just pulled from both core and Persona
master
to try to test and now have trouble starting up. This is the error I'm getting:22/9 14:07 [13474] - error: Error: Cannot find module 'jimp' at Function.Module._resolveFilename (module.js:338:15) at Function.Module._load (module.js:280:25) at Module.require (module.js:364:17) at require (module.js:380:17) at Object.<anonymous> (/path/to/nodebb/src/image.js:4:9) at Module._compile (module.js:456:26) at Object.Module._extensions..js (module.js:474:10) at Module.load (module.js:356:32) at Function.Module._load (module.js:312:12) at Module.require (module.js:364:17)

Mobile UI bug.@Kowlin I can see I have 1 unread notification, but can't see the text of it when I open the swipe-in menu on mobile.
-
Mobile UI bug. Also, on the mobile swipe-in menu, can you see any notifications? I've just upvoted your post so you should have one unread. I can't myself.

Ability to disable core pages@agarcia17 That doesn't disable the route, it just removes the link from the navigation menu.

Notification when my username is typedWith this idea in place, I could have spam notified 30 users in this post and nobody but those users would know about it

How to convert a forum post to topic?@baris said:
You can fork it from the topic tools menu, it will create a new topic
Neat feature! I didn't know about that one

Idea: Different homepage for authenticated usersIt would be useful to be able to set a different homepage for logged-in users.
So for example, example.com might display the category list for users who are logged-out and for users who are logged-in, example.com will display the list of recent topics.

Ability to disable core pagesI think the correct term for pages is routes?
I set my homepage to /recent/ and have removed the /categories/ icon from my navigation menu. So in my case, the /categories/ page is now pretty much unused unless someone visits the URL directly.
It would be useful if you could provide settings in the admin area to disable pages. So for example, if I disabled /categories/ then visited that page directly in a browser I would get a 404. The same would go for /recent/ and /popular/ etc if I chose to disable them.
This isn't exactly a killer "feature" but would help to keep a tidy site, focusing users on certain forum areas only.
Thoughts?

NodeBB broken after installing a theme!@baris said:
The command to reset theme back to vanilla is ./nodebb reset theme
I had better success with
./nodebb reset -t

A page containing topics created by users I'm following@baris I think the unread page how it currently works isn't great because it's opt-out rather than opt-in. People might not be interested in every single topic.
-
A page containing topics created by users I'm following@Kowlin I think so too. It would give more purpose to the act of following someone. Kind of the same as following someone on Twitter results in their tweets showing up in your feed.
Twitter: Following people results in a page full of followed user's tweets.
NodeBB: Following people results in a page full of followed user's topics.

A page containing topics created by users I'm followingIt would be interesting if I could view a page which contains topics created by users I'm following.
Sorry if this is already available, grateful if you could point me in the right direction.

WikipediaIf I read a forum software comparison article on Wikipedia and it didn't mention NodeBB, then that article would be pretty poor! Whoever is deleting it is a vandal.

Disabling skins@Fastidious This can now be disabled from the admin area. See #3488 for more info.
