Username Mentions - Flood warnings? -
Upload images without imgur plugin? When the imgur plugin is enabled, you can upload images just fine. When it isn't - image uploading is disabled.
Is that intended? I enabled file uploads and file uploads works fine, icon shows up, etc.

Username Mentions - Flood warnings?May or may not be a thing. I just got the same error when browsing a users profile. Not really sure what's going on, it's a forum that isn't even being used yet with only a couple of users and like four categories.

Username Mentions - Flood warnings? Not sure where to put this - but I did a git pull tonight and my composer stopped working properly. After looking at the log I was geting flooding detected over and over.. After a process of elimination it seems to be related to the username mentions plugin?
I disable it and the issue goes away. I enable it and it comes back. I did this quite a few times.

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed pluginFor anyone who may want to bypass the google cache, you can edit the index.js file and do the following. At line 228ish where it requests the feed, I edited it like so:
function getFeedByGoogle(feedUrl, callback) { var rsscurtime = new Date().getTime() / 1000; request('http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/feed/load?v=1.0&num=4&q=' + encodeURIComponent(feedUrl) + '?' + rsscurtime, function (err, response, body)
Essentially I just set rsscurtime to unix time, and tacked that on to the end of the URL set in the control panel. It works fine with my feed but of course YMMV.

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin@baris Sure - You got pm.

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin@baris Updated and trashed broken plugins. Loads fine on 0.6x now - still doesn't bring automatically add new posts it finds in the RSS, though. When I delete the feed and re-add it it pulls everything like you'd expect. Same behaviour it seems.

Setting parent category doesn't seem to work in latest pull?@baris we get faster service here than at McDonalds. Jeeze.
Confirmed that the fix works fine. Thanks again.

Setting parent category doesn't seem to work in latest pull?Just pulled a few mins ago - I try to set a parent category and it just reloads the page like it normally would but no parent category this time. Worked fine in the latest 0.5 build I had previously.
-
[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed pluginAh, well that's a pickle. A few random plugins don't seem to be working with 0.6 and I just had some general issues with it so I went back to a stable build.
I'll try upgrading again.

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin@baris I just did it all again, which resolved that error - but now I'm getting this one:
error: TypeError: Cannot read property 'applyCSRF' of undefined

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin@baris Instead of just removing and reinstalling from CP, went to install from git and getting this error:
error: Error: Cannot find module 'to-markdown'
I'm assuming my install is out of date?

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin@baris I gave it an update and it's still not working. Is there any verbose output anywhere so I can try and give you more info?
-
[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin@baris Was this just a moment ago? As part of my troubleshooting - I removed it and reinstalled it like 30 mins ago.

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin@julian Haha, he would if I could test it.
Doesn't seem to be working for me. I add the RSS feed and it seems to do an initial pull (I have it set for 1 minute) but doesn't continue looking (or at the very least, nothing new gets added).
Very strange how I delete the RSS feed, add it. It pulls all items and they show up fine. Duplicate appear to have stop showing up, but nothing new shows up either for me, it seems. Unfortuantely there's no verbose output when running nodebb dev so I can't see it trying to do anything either.
I'll keep messing around with it and see if it's something on my end I guess.

[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed plugin$30 paypal bounty to the first person that can fix the duplicate posting issue

Posting from a PHP Form?@Shaun Thanks but unfortunately the RSS feed plugin seems to be having some issues (at least for me), particularly with not grabbing all posts and/or duplicating them.
I'll keep my eye on the rss thread and see if it gets any updates.
-
[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed pluginAh yes, duplicate post issue here as well. +1 Duplicate post.
-
[nodebb-plugin-rss] RSS Feed pluginThis working in the latest release? Seems to stop after one post for me.
Also seems to be parsing markdown or something improperly but I think that's another issue altogether.

Posting from a PHP Form?Let's say I had a PHP form that when a user submitted it - it posts the results into the forum under a specified user into a specified forum. Where would I even start to look at doing something like this?
With most other forums in the past I would do it as hacky as possible and just insert it into the database, but don't really want to do that with nodeBB.
