What command did you type to get that? Usually that happens when you clone a dependant package, and it gets out of date, and then you run
npm i
the command I used is npm install

@charles what do you have for
"id"
in plugin.json? fornodebb-theme-test
id is nodebb-theme-test
using this as example:
<head>
<script src="jquery-1.12.0.min.js"></script>
</head>
To add any library to nodebb do I just paste in custom header?
Also where do I put the library file(s)?
What is path that need to be use for url to reference it?
79 error git /home/localdev/NodeBB/node_modules/nodebb-theme-test: Appears to be a git repo or submodule.
80 error git /home/localdev/NodeBB/node_modules/nodebb-theme-test
81 error git Refusing to remove it. Update manually,
81 error git or move it out of the way first.
What does it mean and what do I do?
@pichalite hahaha i thought it was to use the slide out or view drawer.
The submit button is missing. Is this a bug or is there another way (special key / command) to submit in this view.
@rod always learning here. thanks!
Is there a specific word/term for this url format?
http%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Fname-for-this-url-type%2F
@nhl.pl yes it's already enabled and the file already uploaded but it's not showing.
please see this post https://community.nodebb.org/topic/8140/featured-image-for-posts/11#
@YaBoiLewis you will need to replace it with the server ip or domain
example: 8.8.8.8:4567
or www.example.com:4567
This is still an issue when I tested with new v1.0.2 install.
Can anyone help?
@YaBoiLewis You can try 0.0.0.0:4567
or localhost:4567
. Both should work.
@YaBoiLewis Yes you can now open a web browser and type the address shown to start the configuration.
@trevor Wish I could even start experimenting with a basic new theme. It's looking nice! Keep it up.
@YaBoiLewis you will need to use cd
followed by your nodebb folder name
example: cd nodebb
@pichalite deactivate all plugin and still can't get it to work. didn't expect it to be this hard to create something blank.
@pichalite blank (fresh) theme that will simply display text hello
with custom style.
build from nothing at all
and add the templates and css.
just like creating a new theme.json and then adding the details.
don't know the right nodebb words to describe a blank template
