This plugin allows your users to log in via their WordPress account. So, the former.
once plugin activated what will happen if new member sign up via nodebb register link?

@charles they are called topic thumb nails in NodeBB
is this option available in existing theme or would have to be created via plugin?
i'm using featured image term from wordpress
for nodebb, instead of showing user avatar on left side, show image of post instead
will this require many changes?

I wanted persona to be similar to what you're thinking, so you get /recent and then also posts from people you follow.
The idea is it'll be a card-based interface and you could on mobile swipe away things you weren't interested in or archive stuff for later
Anyways, I'm running into a brick wall for the desktop version of the UX, so I haven't made much progress on that idea just yet. Open to hearing any suggestions
@psychobunny any progress for the card-based theme you talked about here?
when i use this plugin does it allow guest to register using wordpress and then user is added to nodebb or the other way around?
Thanks for replies so maybe I used wrong command?
I was using the following command with path to folder
./letsencrypt-auto certonly --webroot -w /var/www/example/public_html -d example.com -d www.example.com -w /home/example/nodebb -d community.example.com
for nginx I included this
location / {
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
proxy_set_header Host $http_host;
proxy_set_header X-NginX-Proxy true;
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:4567/;
proxy_redirect off;
# Socket.IO Support
proxy_http_version 1.1;
proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade;
proxy_set_header Connection "upgrade";
}
I'm guessing letsencrypt can't see or reach the path? What else can I provide to help pinpoint problem?
I have the following working:
Now I would like to add
community.example.com
Would like to use Letsencrypt but keep getting error message
Maybe this? https://developers.google.com/drive/web/about-sdk
I was looking around for different storage and found pricing for google. Can use 15GB free compared to other services so curious about using it. For $1.99 can get 100 GB.
List in the first post needs update @baris
Some sites are down/unavailable or have non nodebb site.
Instead of imgur, maybe use google drive? Anyone tried and get it to work?
suggestions:
-option to only show comments with at least x number of upvote/favorite
-or way to filter comments and not show all of them in blog
useful plugin
suggestions:
-referral code can be autogenerated AND option to use username
-use code to join/enter private forum
nice! will try it.
maybe docs https://docs.nodebb.org can include these recommendation for others to use.
Did you find solution for this?
What is the current time limit for nodebb before the last edit shows up and where can I change that to give more time.
nodebb getting many spam posts.
1- what plugins does the nodebb site use?
2- what should users install for better spam control?
@julian cool thanks!
