One of my favorite subgenres is present-day Iggy Pop collabs, where he does spoke word over music you wouldn't normally associate with Iggy. E.g., "Teatime Dub Encounters" with Underworld, and "Leaves of Grass" with Tarwater and Alva Noto. Thanks to a toot from @platenworm about a new-to-me artist, now I have this one to add to the list: "The Dictator", with Belgian composer, violinist, and violist Catherine Graindorge.

Looks like there's still some last-minute tickets (Aug 30, 31, Sep 1), if anyone is in Amsterdam and needs something to do.
