🧵 I figured out Apple's insisting on a Settlement Conference. The process I wanted (ENE) allowed us to present evidence. The SC process has no evidence & instead relies on unsubstantiated allegations. Apple's fav!!!
Not gonna lie to you - Apple still finds ways to mess with me - though I've gotten v good at quickly evicting them from my brain. After the mtg I was feeling gaslit-AF. I realized this process allows Apple to talk shit about me privately to a Judge & I can't even defend myself.

I wanted the process where a neutral reviews the *actual evidence* + claims & then offers a sanity check to the parties.
Apple insisted on the process where they can lie behind my back and there's no fact checking their happy horsesh*t, & I'm not even on notice of what they said.
Apple's process weaponizes a Judge to gaslight me on Apple's behalf; which is exhausting because I won't be able to flip out on a Judge; I'll have to calmly explain each lie.

Apple spent years trying to break my mind/spirit on some very specific topics via social media, coworker harassment, & captured agencies.
They need me to flip out during the depo, & with Judges & have been priming me since 2021. I gotta go super Buddhist asap. 🧘️ ️ ️
I feel confident I'll get thru it now that I realized what they're doing & I started talking to people about it. Everyday I feel so much empathy for workers going through this, suffering immensely, & have no idea whats happening.

Ugh. Sorry to hear they're giving you so much shite, but good on you for realizing and keeping up the fight.I, and I'm sure many others, are grateful to you for keeping up the fight to help keep things honest, or at least get them closer.
You may be the one putting in the work, but you are not alone.
