Chat room numbers instead of usernames doesnt seems the best user friendly experience.

I agree, people on my forum are complaining about this change. Usernames was way better than this number system

This change was made to allow group chats. I agree, the chat room should be displayed normally, with just the other person's name if there are only two people in the chat.

Not really.
The change was made to close this request to show room names. Although I don't like how it's changed. It should just show other user's name for one-to-one chats.

@pichalite well, maybe not to allow group chats, but as a stylistic change to better accompany group chats.

I think it is best to start room names as "" and display the usernames, if the owner changes the room name then we display that.
