also in nodebb-plugin-sso-oauth there is a comment that says nodebb requires email for creating a user, but I have been able to create one with an empty string for email.
does something goes wrong later if some users don't have an email?

Is there an option that users can hide a category from the forum?

I have an adult category on my forum that contains gore and rekt treads. But some members don't want to see it. I know I can give a few people access to the group but I want the people to hide the category if they don;t want to see the content.
Is there a plugin that will do this, or is there an other way I can do this?

@MJ remove access to registered-users for that category. Create a user group and give access to that category for the group. People who want to see the category can join the group and people who don't want to see can leave.

Yes I know that, but I want it vissible for everyone, and the people who don't want to see it can hide it. So if htey join a group, the category will disappear.
Example:
I have a category it's called "Gore" and I have a group called "I don't want Gore" if people join the group, the category Gore will disappear for them. -

people tell me everyday haha.But maybe are there more people who want an option for choose if they want to see adult content or not.
