I have a question about Google Pagespeed

Why doesn't NodeBB render here? This really irks me.

That's curious. If a NodeBB site is not rendering, I wonder how they are doing in search results. Do you see any connection?

None of the sites I tested from this list are loading.

Search results don't seem to be impacted though, ex: https://www.google.ca/search?q="Blog+Commenting+Engine"+nodebb

so at least its not something to be too alarmed about

Yeah... the pagespeed insights site is... less than helpful when it comes to figuring out why our page doesn't render. However, as @psychobunny says, the sites are being indexed...

I do know recent changes to Discourse now mean that they serve a completely different page to Google, while we serve the same page (which I believe is better for SEO)

yeah i use insight too so would be good it if worked at least gtmetrix.com and webpagetest.org work i.e. for this forum http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140226_X8_60a2df5846b61aac9f61c1f1ec8fb52b/

It works now... don't ask me what we did to fix this because we don't know:

The score is pretty terrible though, but at least we know what to do to fix it
