Is there a way to allow user to change category of own topic ?

It would be convinient if the user who created the topic can also be able to change the category on editing.

@connectkushal I want to know too, but even though the admin can not change it right now !!!

@Jam admins and global mods can move the topic to a different category.

Select "Move topic" under the "Topic Tools" dropdown and pick the category you want to move the topic to.
