WHAT is the physics of that?
I saw it in a documentary and it's been bugging me: I'm figuring it's hard enough to keep one slippery fish (trying to get out) in a beak, but a row of them -- and not even in order of diameter? How do they do it? -

'A puffin’s beak can hold many fish. Its raspy tongue holds fish against spines on its palate, so the puffin is able to open its beak to capture more. An average catch is 10 fish per trip.'
