Ah well. I guess we can assume that this isn't a problem for most. I'm going to stick with NodeBB for public facing posts (It is a forum after all).
For sharing sensitive data I'm going to use other more secure platforms (Nextcloud).
I am new to nodebb and this is my first open source community. I have been playing with nodebb for about a month or so writing plugins/widgets and themes. In my plugin I have a migration script that runs and pre populates a number of categories/topics. While developing this feature I noticed that a number of category permissions are left in the database even though the category has been purged. Is this a bug? Is this intended, why would I want permissions to something that no longer exists?
Thanks for your help, keep up the great work!
