Do you mean SSO across multiple forums? It's something that we can do, but we wouldn't bother unless a lot of forums were interested first
I think this feature is called Multisite (i.e. User Database Sharing).

I'd like to do the same. For instance, some folks don't like round avatars, so I would override the CSS for that. Other folks want zero color, so I'd make a monochrome skin.
