Fetching recent topics from same category?

    Everytime I go to a category my NodeBB disconnects

    Found the problem. it was the plugin nodebb-plugin-merge-subtopics

    It could load any category page with sub-categories in it.

    Maybe it's hepfull for somebody who has same problem 🙂

    You mean add tags after the fact? Only a mod or the OP can edit a topic and add them.

    Tags are not available for posts but I really, really, wish they were.

    Thanks.. As an emergency I just removed the topic call (I suspected it was that) every post in the recent list went from a few hundred views to 1k+ in half a day. There aren't enough employees in my department for that many views :). I was only using it to show up votes.. I would have just used the rss feed if I could have but it's hardly includes any information.

    Subtracting from the view counts sounds doable..

    I just wanted to add that in order to use the plugin, you must on your site include a <div> or <span> with component="category/controls" (it may be empty). As you can see in the public/scrips/client.js, it's looking for that element and adding the button into it, along with its functionality.
    Hope that helps and saves people some time!
