That's great, thank you.
See http://community.nodebb.org/topic/553/plugin-weekends for week 1!
OK, same rules as last week, core devs get only the 48 hours while you guys have already had a head start and I'm hoping something's already in the works
We've privately discussed a small monetary award for the winner, just for kicks. Really small so don't start ordering your yacht just yet. The crappiest plugin from the three of us is the one who pays up. Since this is out of our own pockets I'd really not like to have to pay @baris or @julian money so please pull through for me
Depending on how this weekend goes we are considering an actual contest with something more serious as a prize.
Do 'large' feature additions to existing plugins count? Say I'd add the ability to edit shouts in my shoutbox plugin. Could I 're-enter' it with that feature?
yeah sure why not last week there wasn't a prize anyways
Plugin weekend officially ends in an hour and a half, so its time to start tallying up the entries...
(Did I miss anybody?)
Last week it was pretty clear who the winner is, this time not as much. Will leave it to the community to cast their votes (voting closes Tuesday). Who wins the prize? And which one of us @baris @psychobunny @julian has to cough it up? (Looks like it's @julian unless he submits something before midnight)
Beat that, nibs. Code is done before midnight, needs minor cleanup and publish to npm (technicalities, really). Also latest NodeBB code being pushed as we speak.
These plugins aren't glamorous... but they had to be done (chuckle)
haha you better link the issue... inb4 people going: "wait doesn't that already exist :^)"
@julian got the plugins, activated but they didnt appear
Mm... you'll have to be on the latest code (since they actively replace the existing Facebook/Twitter/Google code in NodeBB).
@julian just pull the last code like.. 30min ago..
Well, that's odd. Perhaps you can wait until I publish them onto npm -- then you can just
npm install those packages.
Voting ends end of day today. If results are inconclusive, I'm going to pick myself as the winner, obviously.

Obviously this is working out in my favour so far
Maybe if someone made a damn poll plugin voting would be easier. WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE
I vote for @bentael's 42. Adding some much needed functionality to the acp.
haha next week I guess the instant winner is the person who writes the poll plugin (and probably hardcoded to take @username as #1 all the time)
Soo what happened?
well with only one vote I guess the winner is @bentael
congratulations on your brand new sports car.
-42 is only a week old? I swear it's been around much longer...
desperately avoiding paying
