Please, is there a plugin or a way to send users email for each notification they receive (mentioned by others, having a post commented..) ?
I have already Emailer (Mailgun) that works when I test it.
Why not to use nodebb-plugin-emailer-mailgun ?
Users can configure to receive notifications in their profiles.
What I want, is sending email to users when they receive a notification on the website (when someone mentioned, or get reply..) . I want make this by default. Because almost users don't even try to modify their profile settings
look here https://community.nodebb.org/topic/4792/how-to-change-default-user-profile-setting
Thanks, but can someone tell me a way to do it instead. changing it via database, but how technically ?
Will be available in 1.18.4
@julian I"m only seeing the issue when the calendar is activated. I also did not see any error or issue before reload, everything works even the term of use.
Reloading skips the term of use page -even without the calendar.
Re: Is there any way to receive notifications for all posts?
I'd like to re-open this topic. Are there any new features or methods that would enable me to get a notification for all posts. I'd like the ability to moderate every post (to the extent possible).
@tfraley @yariplus In my case I have a new and not very active forum, so I don't visit it daily. If a spammer registers and posts something a notification would be fine.
Even I don't dream of NodeBB! 😦
I don't know if I should be scared or not.
