    Hi,

    Please, is there a plugin or a way to add social sharing buttons to posts ? or better is there a plugin that make sharing content from nodeBB to facebook and twitter systematically ?

    Each post has an icon to share on social networks - on this forum (using the Persona theme) there's an icon to the far-right of the post with 3 dots stacked on one another. Click it to choose to share on Facebook, Twitter of G+.

    On Lavender theme there's a cog button under a post which when clicked offers the same options.

    I think you can also try ns-embed plugin, because youtube live video url is the same as regular video url, so I am assuming it will work.

    Show last three posts per category on home and categories

    Hey guys,

    I'm trying to customize persona theme to show the last three posts per category.
    I'm having a hard time trying to find a way to do this, can anyone shed some light?

    I guess I should be working with hooks, but I need some guidance, can't seem to find what I need in the docs.

    I've noticed a wee problem with Wordpress/blog comments.

    At first I was being hit by a 503 error - which turned out it was Akismet blocking the publishing of a post as it was being flagged as spam in NodeBB. Deactivate that, it's fine.

    The post in question was just a YouTube video.

    You see, when I publish a post, the social sharing links (the exact ones i'm using on Wordpress for now are the Jetpack ones) are also posted in the forum topic.

    Now - is there any way of filtering these out? It will take two minutes to edit the thing, but just wondered if anyone else came across the same.

    What I will do (later) is just remove the social links which have appeared and put the video in there instead, it's not a massive issue, just adds a little more housekeeping when posting things later.

    @yariplus lol yeah would be more simpler, I know about that method, but I went with the longer approach because my first few tries I had issues so I made assumptions that it was data type or something. Thanks though, that method definitely makes the code look cleaner.
