This is a setting in the ACP.
Thanks very much for the response, that's perfect!! 🙂
Has anyone got them to work?
Twitter comes back
"error": "failed to find request token in session"
And facebook says
"Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains."
On this site? Or your own?
Did you put that in the
app domains setting in the facebook app?
it now works when i add back the ip address like this. im guessing this is still related to my nginx problems...
Try adding the port number to the url.
I had the same problem with twitter last night and that was because i was using the keys.
Nope. it really wants the ip address for some reason.
probably related to this issue: banned users can still log in and post using the ip address instead of the domain. users logged into the ip are not logged into the domain and vise versa.. the "unread" list is different depending if youre logged in through the ip address or the domain.
After I tried @kevin its still giving the same error. I have also made this public. Any suggestions?
I have the same setting @kevin still getting the same error. I have changed it also to public, any more suggestions?
@jun This thread was from a long time ago. Today I enabled the same plugin and didn't have any issues. I just entered my Display Name, URL into "site url" and my domain name into "App domains." Oh and my contact email. I left everything else blank.
@kevin I have installed the plugin and tried everything i could find like 10 times already but still the same.
I was able to successfully use twitter login. I think that I might also do the same for facebook where I have added callback URL and some token but facebook will ask for tax id.
