    There are also two cli commands for this!

    ./nodebb user make admin <uid> for what you and Baris described - giving an existing user administrative privileges ./nodebb user reset <uid> to reset the password (<uid> will be 1 for default admin; the command will auto-generate a password and return it, you can also set your own with -p/--password option)

    I want to edit the default settings for mail subscriptions for all users in my forum.
    But I can‘t find it out.

    Yeah it might make more sense to use slugs instead of the actual group name when storing the key. Right now when you go to the group page you use a slug in the url and then the code grabs the group name using that slug to load the correct group's data.

    The topics thumbs using a link are not resized/cropped resulting in weird issues. Is this something normal (like to have big backgrounds) or an actual bug ?
    I think that in ACP since you can enter a max value it should be cropped like when you upload the file.
