Widgets not saving and acting funny

Anyone else have an issue where widgets are not savings properly? You go and edit one and then save and refresh and its not the way you saved it and back to how it was originally?

My issue with widgets is more along the lines of I can make one change, then save. This change takes place. Subsequent changes do not occur. However, if I refresh the widgets page after making and saving the first change, I can make another change. So on, and so forth.

Basically widget changes after the first one aren't saving.

I've not had a problem with widget saving before. Is it your own widget? What version of NodeBB?

The only time I can remember having issues with saving is when I put a form tag inside the widget, that seemed to muck it up, since it already wraps all the widgets it in a form.

Could it be possible you were working with more than one window open at a time?

@psychobunny, I've had this issue occur when only a single window was open. I don't recall this being an issue in 0.6.0-dev, though I could have overlooked it.

@Ted and @RazorAxis I've had the same exact issue, except now I can't even refresh the page -- saves just don't work. Same, I've had only one window open. I've noticed the following from the logs:

[socket.io] Too many emits! Disconnecting uid : 1. Message : admin.widgets.set
Flooding detected! Calls : 21, Duration : 575

@Justin, does that issue persist after clearing cache/trying to make changes in Chrome's incognito mode?

What widgets are you loading? Any from Plugins? (Shoutbox etc)

Just the standard widgets @a_5mith. Same issue @Ted is describing but not I'm at the point @Justin is explaining as well. Version is 6.1 Dev but it was happening with 6.0 I even tried an incognito tab same thing. Sometimes I can get to that 1 save and refresh and sometimes it hates me all together and I get nothing. Also there is a bunch of crap in the draft zone, all my widgets moved there when upgraded and I cannot delete it.

The fix @Justin linked fixes a problem where if you had many wigdet areas/widgets it was blocking you from saving. It should be fixed on latest.

@baris when you say the latest, you mean the if I upgrade to the most recent master of .6.1-dev I will be good to go? Sorry if its a dumb question still kinda new to this.

@RazorAxis yes but make sure you backup your database if you are going to update to latest incase something goes wrong and you want to go back.
