Always thought weekend update was hilarious on SNL. Can't wait to see it transition to an actual show.
I like Seth, he's a brilliantly funny guy.
I got 99 posts, but a .... damn
This thread is still going
@psychobunny retired early tonight apparently he has a driving test tomorrow. If you are in the Toronto area you might want to stay indoors tomorrow
@baris I'll keep that in mind
You mentioned you do MMO's baris, what games do you play?
Haven't played a lot of MMOs lately the latest few I played were Rift and Tera. I am keeping an eye on EQ Next maybe will play that once it comes out.
Mostly playing Civ 5 and the latest Divinity these days.
Civ 5 is a great game, although I've been pulled away to Europa Universalis IV lately for my empire building gameplay.
As for MMO's I tend to stick with EVE Online exclusively just because it's fairly time and energy consuming.
You excited for Civilization: Beyond Earth?
@Tanner not sure about Beyond Earth, it looks more like a reskin of civ 5 than a standalone game.
It definitely has that feel, some mods have gone that far in some cases. It's definitely running off of the same engine, we know that at least.
I have Civ V too Bought it when it was on Steam summer sale, except I didn't buy any expacs, so I am playing vanilla
Vanilla isn't that great once you've got Brave New World and Gods & Kings under your belt. They've got some pretty good additions to the gameplay but the DLC is expensive at the end of the day.
Hahaha it wasn't expensive during the steam sale ... but I cheaped out and only bought vanilla instead of the complete game (for a measly $10 more)
I went out and spent an undisclosed amount of money on a proper PC, after 4 years of owning just a laptop, I'd had enough. So I'm now a PC gamer, I've spent today playing War Thunder, which is actually quite good fun. I may pick up DayZ for the hell of it as I loved the mod, I know the DayZ SA is buggy etc, but it might be good one day.
@a_5mith Might as well join me in EVE Online then, mate be a proper PC gamer
@Tanner I've never been into MMORPGLOLWTFBBQs, I played Runescape back when it was considered "cool" though.
Sold a level 97 account for about £50. ($90)
Hahaha oh Runescape, how many days and nights did I waste instead of doing proper things like learning how to code
I had an Adamantium Axe before they introduce the new metals
@julian i recall the reason I stopped playing was because I lost full dragon armour and sword up in the wilderness. That put me off the whole spend 3 weeks working for something, to lose it within 3 seconds. So I turned to FPS Games like BFBC2 and dayz.
Runescape is the devil >_>
Yeah I just bumped this.
I would have replied late last night to stay within the theme of the thread but I was too tired. Plus I was busy watching Lord of the Rings while falling asleep.
Anyways, back to EVE Online business... :squirrel:
hahaha it's not late night now either but I want to headbutt these jerkoffs i've been working with the past 4 months.
kids show / intellectual property
i replaced their "web guy" who was a bad hack at best. his sites are total garbage. he gets mad i didn't give him admin access to make changes and moves the fucking name servers. not only replacing the nice site with this pile of shit. but killing the SEO value, emails, and everything else put into it.
seriously.. you just can't find people this stupid if you tried
that above rant never ended haha.. they begged me to come back and fix everything they trashed and I walked. sorry guys but offering me a "piece of the business" when you are 500k in debt just doesn't make me feel like I'm ever going to get paid for my time
Watching the late NBA game right now while responding to some emails. Lakers really suck ass they're not making the playoffs this year.. Don't really care though as a Knicks fan.
