Is Adobe Flash Player Necessary?

I don't like Flash, limited mobile viewing, heavy loading... and I'm curious why NodeBB require Flash? Maybe Any plugin cause that or it was implemented to NodeBB core?
And how can i remove it?

Possibly for the YouTube plugin, there's nothing on desktop that doesn't work on mobile. (That I've seen)

Continue blocking it and see what doesn't work.

Another possibility is that websockets are blocked/not working on your browser and socketio is trying to use flashsockets.

@luke Looks like 30, they moved the refresh button into the URL bar...

@a_5mith It's been like that since Firefox 4. Judging by the UI with the hamburger menu and the new bookmarks icon it's got to be 29 or greater.

@luke Pre v30 (or maybe v29) you could move the refresh button anywhere on the toolbar, it's now fixed at the right of the Location bar. Can't be moved without addons.
