Tell me about it. Redis error messages are the worst. 🙂
From the sounds of it, it looks like we're doing a database call without checking for a proper error callback. But without a proper line number, there's no way to know which call is doing it 😞
Since ver 0.4.1 .. nodebb runs smooth for my visitor.. but not that smooth for me..
like.. it works great when i use the 4567 default port but when i dont.. some stuff just dont appear.. im behind a corporate firewall..
in early days.. even this forum (original nodebb forum) i could access but now i can... so.. whats the trick?

What year is it where you are? We're only on version 0.4.3 in 2014.

we recently changed widgets to use AJAX rather than websockets, so it will show up for people like you (and be less laggy on mobile, and also most importantly, being able to be indexed by web crawlers)
so... if you update to latest, your problem should be solved
Are you 0.4.3 or absolute latest? Because we only made that change a week ago or so
