Just got offered an unexpected free ticket for Magic Flute at the Atlanta Opera tonight! Starts at 7PM, lasts about 3 hours + intermission. This was an unexpectedly perfect "no phones allowed" distraction. I think I'll put on a suit, just 'cause. No, I'm not overdressed, everyone else is under-dressed thank you very much.

@sam doooo it, how serendipitous. I scheduled a dentist appointment this afternoon in a similar (?) vein. (No phones, not comparing Mozart to the dentist.)

@etp it was *really* good; production value was great, the orchestra was fantastic, and the famous Queen of the Night aria was as good as (or better than) any big-name version I've ever listened to.
