Pinned topics/posts are useful to help new users and we use them in all the categories. Some users end up directly in "unread" or "recent" and it would be helpful if we could pin topics to those as well.
Moving post to topic ID should be simpler to use

That handy button which moves posts in different threads should be easier to use.
Instead of looking for the thread ID can't we have something like a search button so that we can look for the thread more easily? -
I've just come accross this, where someone has posted an off topic responce to another post.
If moving an individual message can it not be moved to a 'new' topic?
