Gallery connection?

    Looking for alternatives to SMF and NodeBB looks pretty cool. I have a couple of features I would have to support. Obviously, migration from SMF is one. Before I can consider that, I need to have an image gallery solution that integrates with the forum. I need something that can associate users with specific albums and allow them to have some control of what gets posted. On SMF I'm using an integration with G2 right now. Anything like that for NodeBB? I'm not finding it if there is.

    Hey buddy, former SMF user myself. I built a converter to export your posts from SMF, you can find it here, it's not a one step process, but it works.

    There's currently no gallery plugin though at the minute.

    @CCob I think we can add in a client-side hook that fires when wrapImagesInLinks completes, would that help?

    I'm not sure if I explained properly but I really wanna use this feature.
    I think it's possible but I'm not sure if I can do this by myself lol

    What I'm saying is that it's normally list of topic subject Text Only when you click any forum categories.
    But it will be much better if topic list showing with each topic cover image(preview image), for example, for viral photo categories.
    Just like pinterest grid layout.

    Can I know if this feature is easy to implement?
    And can anyone possibly show this feature if already using on your forum?

    As @pitaj mentions, invoking sudo with NodeBB is bound to bring you trouble 😄 -- no need for superuser privileges for NodeBB, and I'm thinking of having NodeBB run as the nobody user, if possible...
