I'm still having the issue with Pushbullet just spinning when trying to accept the asociation.
This is output in the console when running in dev.
info: [plugins/pushbullet] New association, redirecting user to: https://www.pushbullet.com/authorize?client_id=%ClientID%FromACP&redirect_uri=https%253A%252F%252Fdomain.tld%252Fpushbullet%252Fauth&response_type=code
route requested but not found /pushbullet/pushbullet/settings
Edit: Running latest of plugin on 0.5.2
Running the latest 0.5.3 and pushbullet plugin, still encountering
`2014-10-31T08:52:58.126Z - warn: Route requested but not found: /api/pushbullet/auth
@Silvina Trying it on your site, I'm getting the spinning loader icon. Can you try swapping the key/secret in the settings and reloading your NodeBB?
@julian swapped and restarted
the oauth test url from pushbullet. not too sure if you can access it here.
@julian swapped and restarted
Mine looks quite similar.
I've attempted to swap the keys around - in which case you can't even access the Approve / Deny screen (for obvious reasons - misconfiguration). The proper configuration simply spins.
@Ted says he magically got it working
Perhaps it started working for you @Silvina? You may want to switch the keys back though haha
@Silvina, it's running fine in my test lab. Configure the keys properly, update to version 1.19, then restart your NodeBB app (don't simply reload). That seemed to fix it for me.
Err'body hatin' on the reload button
@Ted @julian managed to get associated, but i am not receiving any notifications via pushbullet. Are there any conditions that needs to be fulfilled?
@Ted most of the time?!
From my forums:
Do me a favour and toggle "Enable Pushbullet Notifications" off, save, then toggle it back on, and save, and see.
If it starts working, then I messed up the handling of defaults
Also... most of the time?
What you'll need to do since you've associated the account is wait for someone to upvote a post, send you a message etc. so that you can test if the push functionality is working. I can see your site listed on your Push page, so everything should be operational.
@julian not working yet.. haha.. let me play around it further. its a good step forward that i managed to associate the account already.
@julian any way to make this plugin work again?
wasn't aware that it wasn't working, actually...
Works for me. Or better said, I just received the push notifications for replies to this post
@fuzzmz oh boy, haven't seen you in awhile
Possibly the registering of new pushbullet accounts isn't working? I'll have to take a look...
It doesnt seems to work with the new api as it was posted above the app creation is a bit different. Will be nice if you test it with a new account and put a small guide
