Fantastic news! Well done!
[nodebb-plugin-pushbullet] Push Notifications for NodeBB
@julian Hello, please send us details for getting the premium plugin on our local install
upon release, it is available exclusively to members of our hosted community and select partners
If you have your hosting with nodebb, then you get it. It will then be uploaded to npm not long after that.
@a_5mith Ok so I don't have to wait 0.5?
@Giorgio-Chiodi It will be available for users whom have hosting with NodeBB when 0.5 is released. It will then be released to everyone else after 0.5 has been out for a while. That's what I'm working out from the first post anyway.
@a_5mith What if I pay for the hosting, but run it locally?
@Giorgio-Chiodi I don't think they'd allow that.

Fixed another bug that caused the forum to crash when a new user tried to access their pushbullet settings -- we should be good to go now, fingers crossed.
@julian I come bearing gifts of bugs.
If someone starts a chat with you and you use the firefox plugin, it automatically tries opening the URL.
The URL looks like this:
As you can imagine, it doesn't work.
The address isn't valid The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.
The hack has finally come around to bite me in the ass
@julian I can remove the post and we can pretend I never posted it if that helps?
@julian Hello do you think Pushbullet could be used also bi-directionally? I mean, could it be used to push a message to nodebb?
In future, do you think PB could be used to reply to a message on the fly? Something like whatsapp.
@Giorgio-Chiodi That would require an appllication wouldn't it? Especially on mobile. As it's literally just a notification, you have to action it. So unless Pushbullet added that, I can't see it happening, what I would like to see is configurable action buttons below the notification on Android for example, the share and copy are a bit, generic. Reply and Mark Read would be cool though, which just takes you to thread and quote.
@a_5mith It doesn't necessarily need an application for now, data could be pushed via a service like IFTTT - I'm thinking about twitter and facebook updates and other services.
do... what? I like the idea of making it accessible to all, but not sure how it would be easily implemented. Bear in mind people have to set this all up.
@a_5mith I'm actually thinking more along the lines of
if new twitter update (maybe the official website account)
then push it to pushbullet, which in turn it pushes it to nodebb
It could also be used so that every user could have their social network status updates on nodebb via pushbullet (on their profile pages or something)
@Giorgio-Chiodi This would probably be more easily achieved using something other than pushbullet. But I'm not sure, I would like to add more social stuff to the profiles, so +1 for something like this.
Pushbullet Notification Settings can't be saved?
Each time I load the settings page here service seems to be disabled?
After NodeBB 0.5 is released any plans to release the Pushbullet plugin?
Sorry, my bad...
Works fine with Firefox!
Used Qupzilla to test it g
Some problems with Qupzilla browser like Pushbullet save problem, missing spoiler plugin editor button, ...
Is it possible to send only one push notification for one topic? Also if more than one answers written?
One notification for each post (also if posted to only one topic) is some days to much g
