Host I've been with for many moons, has nodejs option?
which does some what work.... when launching the URL, it shows
There must be away to get this to work then surely?
That's correct, you set it up with a mock database, and npm test inserts its own testing data and cleans up after itself when it's done. No need to have NodeBB running for the testing suite to run.
Hello nodeBB ,
I have a question :
Right now i have a vps server :
OS : Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Plesk panel .
8 GB + 4GB ram burst
200 GB SSD
On this vps server i have another 10 websites wich all runs apache-mysql-plesk .
The question is :
Can i install nodeBB on this server without any problem for other sites ?
@felirami I have it almost working properly on Digital Ocean, see if it works for you https://github.com/doppioslash/docker-builds
My problem is, it's not answering on port 80 from my custom domain, even though it's exposed.
It should be essentially the same. I can't think of anything that would be different.
@pitaj yep that was it, turns out the Bitnami Stack displays a different version that I is actually running and isn't updatable. had to build a server from scratch turned out to be a good thing in the end.
